About
Built by someone who got tired of finding out from clients.
RootBrief started as a personal tool. I was running n8n automation pipelines for several projects — news sites, content pipelines, data syncs — and I kept finding out about failures the worst possible way: a client message, a missing report, or manually checking logs at midnight.
n8n is powerful. But it doesn’t tell you when things quietly stop working. There was no simple dashboard that showed me “here’s what’s healthy, here’s what broke, here’s why — in plain English.”
So I built RootBrief. It watches your workflows 24/7, alerts you the moment something fails or goes silent, and explains what happened in language that anyone — not just developers — can understand.
What we believe
Monitoring should be simple.
You shouldn't need a DevOps degree to know if your automations are working.
Alerts should be human.
"socket hang up" tells you nothing. "Shopify stopped responding for 12 minutes" does.
Small tools deserve serious infrastructure.
1-person operations run on n8n deserve the same visibility as enterprise software.
Boring is good.
We're building a reliable tool that earns its price every single day.
